Default Sold my BBC, so need some opinions on my build

71 pro touring chevelle, tremec tko600.

I have a complete L92 with all the accessories, has 13k miles, the stock intake was cut open and ported/opened up by ls2 portworks. I also have all the stock wiring harness, pedal, ecm.

I bought a VVT cam from a guy locally that was in his truck for about a week. It's a Comp VVT Comp XFI SPR Cam:
(222/236 .566/.578) 114 LS
P/N 156-403-13

Now i'm trying to decide between two options:

1- Put the cam i've got in and run the VVT setup and get my stock harness/ecm sent out and use the cam/intake i've got. Should be good for around 500 fwhp.

2- Ditch VVT and run LS3 stuff. In a way it's a lot simpler to deal with by all the things i've read.

Either way, I want to send the heads out for good valves and a CNC port job. I want to get rolling on it asap since I broke my collarbone on Sat at the dunes in oregon on my CR500, so by the time I get all my parts back I sould be able to start working in it again.

Default L92

So i'm keeping the vvt, speartech is doing up my harness and tune to start. Most likely be going with a stock short since it's such low miles and using TSP for the cnc port job on the heads and one of their vvt grinds.
