Crazy lobes run the duals. Mild lobes run the singles. FWIW I dyoed 8whp more with 918's on a TR224 then I did a few days later with Patriot Golds. Mind you I cant say one single bad thing about the Golds they took 7000RPM on the regular although they did soften up after season 3 but no failures at all. Im running EPS lobes in the new engine/cam and retaining VVT so worried about overloading the phaser and running the 1518's

Also now have 1518's in the TR224 car and its running great on season two with those now

918's with Ti retainers on XFI lobed cam of 0.610/0.608 lift. Shift at 6500-6700 rpm, when thoroughly good and hot. Oh, and yes, daily driver.

Thanks for posting!

In all of the years we've been using these springs, we've never had or heard of a single failure. We have even tested springs that came out of cars after as much as 60,000 miles with full bolt-on's and a large camshaft and they were still within spec.

This is the kind of info that makes me want to get the 1521's. This is the second person i have heard actually test them and be within a few pounds of new.
