LS3 cam swap experience?

Default LS3 cam swap experience?

I've swap LS1 cams always heads off, so never a concern keeping the lifters up.

This time it is heads on LS3. Question one, is there anything different with the LS3 that I should consider.

#2 is my real concern, keeping the lifters up. Searching indicates many mixed issue's with Wood & Aluminum Dowel methods as well as diameter of Dowel material.

Any tips or tricks? Thanks.

Exact same physical experience as doing it on the ls1. Absolutely nothing is different. You can stick dowels, or rods of any sort under the lifters through holes in the block if you're so inclined. I didn't.
