Default Trailblazer SS ls2 swap into a trans am?

Would the pullies, water pump, alternator or anything else (if anything) need to be rearrange to fit in a 93 trans am? I know I will need a different K member and a different shaft(or extension) for my transmission (t56) to hook up... What about from a corvette(ls1,ls2,ls3) or gto (ls1,ls2)? Also what about an lq9 swap? anything need to be switched around for that?

Requardless what engine you decide to get, You will want to use a F-body (98-02) FEAD (front end accessary drive) including the harmonic balancer. Also plan on getting a car intake. You could use the Trail Blazer TB, but you would be giving up some power.

The Trail Blazers should have 243 heads on it. Run it the way it is or cam it. Even better yet. send the heads to TEA (sponsor here) for there stage 2 port job. I am looking for some 243s to send to them. Be sure to start a build thread in the conversion and hybrid section.

Good luck
Jim

I'm doing an LS2 from a 06 Vette and using the front drive assy from a LS1. For my situation, this was the easiest way for my conversion from a 3.8.
