16 bearings dude.... 8 cylinders, 2 bearings per cylinder. 1 upper, 1 lower... soo 1+1 = 2... X 8 = 16.

Specialized... If someone online can help vs someone locally which there aren't anyone on this deserted *** base, don't you think I would have gone to them first?? If you don't care to ramble, then why the hell did you post? Now, I took the block back to the builder and they apologized and I requested they tear the build down and rebuild it because had that bearing fallen down after installing the block, I'd been out a motor and they'd swear it was my fault. But they did say it was a spare bearing they used to check clearance and misplaced it I guess...

I think you made the right decision here. If they misplaced a bearing, there's no telling what else they might have misplaced, or left out.

Wow!!! So you paid thousands of dallars for them to build you a short block and they couldn't even check it before sending it out? That would be something you would look for before you ship the block out..

He says he paid 1k for the assembly, hardly thousands of dollars.

And he was asked what the part number of the bearing was that he found, and seemed unable to answer ?

And it would take approximately 30 seconds to determine if there was a shell missing from any of the rods. If even that long.
