Best heads 3k and under for a 418 LS3?

All Pro, TFS 235s, AFR has a few new offerings, ported stockers, Mast, TSP / PRC, etc... Take your pick. Depending on how much you're looking to spray an aftermarket casting would be more reliable.

Tsp Ls3 Milled 68CC with valve upgrade, stock L76, 92mmTB, LME LQ9 408, I made through a M6 & 4:10's, 546-RWHP 517-RWT, with a SD tune and a little more left in the tune no bullshit. Yes you get what you pay for without a doubt, but i made great numbers an now i just went to a bigger custom 4.040 piston... You really can't go wrong as long as the numbers look.

Reher Morrison Racing Engines offers a top-notch LS3 head created none other than Darin Morgan himself!
I would talk with him for sure if you are still shopping for ported OE castings. Beautiful work and middle of the road prices, I was impresses and wish I purchased his set if they would have been available a year ago.
Good luck

The Small bore LS7 heads from PRC were slow getting out because I was tweaking the castings before I'd start shipping them. We have customers running them currently & we are taking orders & shipping them.
You can get a PRC small bore LS7 & use the FAST LS7 intake which has been a proven winner compared to the LS3 stuff. If your asking what makes the best power the LS7 components will small a LS3 combination no problem.
I tested it on a stock L99 & the LS7 combo ended up on my stock engine, but honestly stroker ls3 setups was exactly what the PRC small bore LS7 was designed for!

A set of gm ls7 heads with advanced inductions port job seems pretty decent
Should come in at under 3k also
I believe vengeance racing had a thread on the heads and how much hp they picked up on a cammed and fast 427 ls7.

+5 BILLION.... Call Rich @ WCCH!!!
This guy will DROP what he is doing, unless he's with a customer of course, to give you his time. In fact, I have yet to give him 10¢; not sure of his shop rates, but here in FL they are around $95 so going off that, he's given me at least $285+ of his!
Most other shops I've call have been short with me, I felt as if I was bothering them *Virginia Speed*, or takes my info down and what I need so they can get me a quote and I'll never hear back from them *TSP* & *Virginia Speed*, or just NEVER answers the phone AND their voice mail is ALWAYS FULL *HKE* but Rich... every time I've called he's taken it or has called me back.
Now I'm not trying to go out of my way to bash anyone shop here - in fact my two considerations are the Brodix BR7 from Rich @ WCCH or the PRC LS7 285cc head from TSP, I'm just saying that Rich will do you SOLID!

I would get in touch with Mast Motorsports and ask if Cary could do up a set of Ls7 4.0 heads. It has around a 247cc intake and flow around 365cfm. It would make more power then heads mentioned above IMO. Plus the Mast heads have 3/4 decks and are already machined for 1.650 valve springs if you wanted to go with a big solid roller someday. And it's made for a 4.00 inch bore or bigger so no problems there.

Let me know if I can be of assistance with your new direction! We offer two different LS7 heads and an LS3 Large Bore that would allow you to run an LS3 intake if you already have one!
