Do you really think it will make a huge difference? I think you might want a bigger snail though.

RFD Edelbrock LS-R would be a better comparison to the Mozez being a canted valve head. The LSW-2 is better compared to the LSX-DR or Mast PXR which are all wedge heads.

If he's light enough it will make it.

You posted a great question, and i let you do the research, but here's what i sudjest, get the flow numbers for both companies, and take your time, to compare them against each other, in the power ban you will be working with, then compare the intake ports volume, the one with the less volume flowing the most will get my attention. but i don't stop there, i like to play with the numbers, lest say you have an intake volume of 380 cc which flows 460 CFM, at .800 lift, now divide 460 into 380 and you have the intake ports flowing 1.210 cfm per CC of intake volume, lest compare that to another head; with 280 CC intake port volume and flows 450 cfm at the same .800 lift, now will see the difference between the two heads, 450 into 280= 1.607 CFM per CC of intake port displacement, this head will make more torq and produce great acceleration, and have my blessing... a possible problem is been their top must secret master pieces, they may or not be telling you the exact numbers, take your time, and ask those who are familiar with both heads "if you can find him". However with boost you always have equalizer in your hands. I know both heads are great but I'm only familiar with the Mast, and there's no mistake here.

How do you account for the length difference in the ports? A deeper bowl and/or higher port entrance will add volume but not necessarily change the port's average cross sectional area. For example adding 1/4" to a runner with say a 3.4sq/in cross section will increase volume but the airspeed will virtually remain the same. Far better to compare cross sectional area vs flow to determine air velocities.
