iron 408 or ls3 416 n/a

trying to figure out if its worth the extra money for the ls3,im going for an n/a setup in a drag car please help me make a choice thanks

I vote for LS3 416 since you going N/A and you can go with a shot of NOS if you want. What you planning to put either motor in?

My vote would be the 6.0 iron block. I don't think the Ls3 is worth the extra money. Plus the iron block is cheaper and easier to find.

I would go LS3 416 because of the larger bore. It will allow you to run a small bore LS7 head, which would work really well for a drag car.

I would go with the LS3 N/A and the Iron Block if You were going Forced Induction.

im thinking ls3 stroked to a 430 whored out l3s heads, or iron 408 ls3 heads,fast 102,60lbs inj ,255 pump kooks 1 7/8 headers tsp duals ,i have a th400 not sure on converter yet and 12bolt 410s
