Default Difference between a gen III and gen IV 6.0

Just picked up a gen IV 6.0 iron block, what are the differences between it and the gen III engine?

Default Gen III vs Gen IV 6.0L

if you know what vehicle it came out of or the RPO code you can look at http://media.gm.com/media/us/en/gm/vehicles.html

you can then figure out the heads, intake, VVT & other factory options.

If you just want to know about the block differences, its basically a few different sensor locations (cam, knock sensors, oil pressure sender, etc.) and some different oiling passages (need a specific valley cover).

Please chime in if I have forgot something, but thats about all I can think of for now.
