427 cam question
Going in my 03 zo6 vette. Any thoughts on how it will drive(besides idle) and what rwhp and rwtq it will make? TIA.

This is the GT 21 cam from Lingerfelter. Anyone running this cam and hows the driveablity? I have heard this cam on YouTube, it sounds really nasty and its in their 66o hp package.
After we drop in the 427 package, the long term plan includes swaping out the LS 3 heads for LS 7 heads (ported) down the road. 550 + rwhp on a na build is my goal. My 03 zo6 is @ 3115 lbs, hoping that new blowers will be having a allergy attack...........

When you put on those new LS 7 heads, is that toddler cam you have losing its pacifier and growing up at all? Just asking................

I was talking with Shawn at VA SPeed this week and he repeated "What people will never understand unless they drive your car is how mild it is."
Choice 1, a 235/247 112 lsa with a 11.5 to 1 scr, 8.77 dcr, overlap @ .050 of 17 and .651 lift both sides on 1.7 rockers.
Choice 2, a 227/239 112 lsa with a 11.5 to 1 scr, .651 lift both sides on 1.7 rockers, dcr about the same. overlap @ .050 of 9 degrees.
Same build as above post. 427 w/ stage 3 LS3 WCCH & LS3 intake.
Looking for the best bang for the buck.
Choice 2 be better for drivablity but will loose on the top. Better mid range torque.
Choice 1, better top end and but mid range not as good, but with a really good tune is driveable.
What would you choose and why?? Kevin, please jump in...............

Why don't you ask WCCH to custom spec a cam for you.
Both cams are OK but I wonder why the lift is .651 on both sides? are you using LSK lobes?
I think that 114 LSA would work better with LS3 heads.
