Ok well I finished putting everything together. Engine bay is complete but only thing I'm waiting on it 02 extensions and I haven't installed the wideband yet. This is my first start up with dead battery. No 02 sensors are plugged in at the moment. I didn't see any oil pressure so I got scared and shut it off. I'm praying it's due to dead battery.

no idea The battery is really dead. It's been charging for about an hour and still hasn't got to 2 bars out of 10 on my charger. I will give it another shot tomorrow but hopefully the 02 comes in so I can finish installing the exhaust.

It's for sure the battery. I'm like 80% sure on that. After I investigated the smoke... I went to start it back up and it wouldn't turn over. When I pushed the start button the dash turns off and starter clicks. The corvette's are designed when it loses battery power it turns off the stuff it don't need to keep the car running. That's why my hp tuner pro wasn't working and some of the gauges. I'll find out for sure tomorrow but it's 10:30 pm here and I have to get up at 4:40am and work till 6:30 pm good night

managed to full charge battery... started the car and same results.. I believe it's the oil pump O ring.. Now I have to take it apart again... Just the entire front engine bay now. Yea I'm a Little pissed but it is what it is. Well here's the video and then I push it back in the garage. Noted every time you pull the oil pump replace every O ring no matter the condition. Tear down again starts Sunday.

I was very surprised it started so easy with those injectors, no back pressure and no 02 sensors hooked up. I didn't have the axle back hooked up at all. Well my buddy hooking me up with the O ring and I should have it before this weekend. Car will be running by this weekend and I'm taking it to rpm to have it tuned... I sold my hp tuner pro because I kinda got impatient with the greg banish dvds...I tore the car apart within 3 hours! I bet now I'm able to do a full cam swap within 10 hrs on a corvette now 
Didn't have to look at a guide once. Note to one self. When you install a double roller you have to shim it to clear the oil pump and when done so it offsets the oil pick up tube. When I put it back together it will take a little more time finding torques and **** but really easy.Well here's a picture of it now..

I'm waiting for the O ring to come in and I'm not going to take the timing cover off until I get it.. My 1 car garage is also my laundry room and It would really suck having lent get into the motor. My tax return is pending in my bank account and I can finally order the rest of my build list... Differential, nitrous, catch can, and a meth kit if I can find one. Found a good used nitrous kit for 500$ on a different site,Lighter flywheel for my z06 clutch 335$, Catch can should be most 160$, 3.90 differential going to be $1,430 from BER , differential brace 200$ used, Hinson shorter engine mounts and transmission mounts 360$, Bilstein hd shocks used 5k miles 225$, and If I can find a meth kit under 400$ then I'll get one but not looking so great. I will be pulling the trigger on all this tomorrow but still sc is up for debate because I found a few different used kits for under 4500$ After all this I still have to find a good set of drag tires because I got a decent street set and a winter set.. Found a guy selling c5z with hoosier slicks but I really don't want a roll cage and I'm sure I'm going to get banned from the track the first few passes out

I wouldnt waste time or money with meth on an n/a car not worth it...what is 10 wheel really going to do for you? so you can say you made 480 instead of 470? If you can drive that wont matter..
