I'm going to finish installing everything then take it to rpm and let them tune the car. I'm going to have the tune if for a 175 shot. If I can make a home made meth kit that would be awesome! I love near free mods that offer great benefits. Like cutting the radiator shroud for more air flow through my engine bay and colder air
My hood already has heat extractors but I also got the 160 stat to help keep the engine cool

Thats the site to my buddy used to make a kit. My friend used it on his supercharged xterra. He picked up far more than 10whp.

Wow its that simple... I wonder why some vendors charge 500+$ The dyi meth kit is prob the best mod per $ for any car. little over 100$ for a better running car and a little extra horse... count me in... It like boost's octane rating and increases gas mileage some what.

I severed an o-ring just like you did. Symptom was a loud tick from #7 after the oil warmed up. Mine was because I left the o-ring in the pump and when the pickup comes into the hole it pinches it. Always put the o-ring on the pickup. It sucks to have to yank it apart again but at least it is a cheap and easy fix.
BTW next time try dropping the cradle instead of yanking the rack. It's lots easier.

Yea but after some research I'm not going to drive it until I get my 02 extensions in and I won't be able to get it tuned till then as well
They come in march 1st sucks but I have a lot of parts in route.. Catch can,mgw short shifter, blitsen shocks should be coming in this week. I'm still looking for good nitrous system at a reasonable price. Half tempting now I have her running decent to drop the transmission (send it to rpm so they can fix it) and diff is going to B.E.R while install the new clutch while I wait for the rest of the parts to come in.. That would set me back another 2-3 weeks before I could take it to get it tuned but when I do everything will be tuned perfect to the car so I might. I'll drink some beers and think about it more and go from there. If I get started on something I will go until it's finished it's just alcohol helps me start something...

I decided I'm just going to have rpm tune it first. After-wards do the diff and clutch swap. I won't be going to the track anytime soon with that horrible stock differential, Really can't afford it to break that.

So I started the car up after I finished installing the exhaust to hear how it'll sound but I couldn't just leave it at that. I ended up driving it just to the gas station. Well I go to the gas station and on my way back the damn clutch line blew... I got it home safe without a clutch and got to looking around and found the rubber clutch hose close to the exhaust melted and ruptured.. I wire tied it but that melted and it sat on my exhaust for the 10 mins it was running.. Hmm I see it as a good thing... Now time to get tick master clutch kit

FML after some research I'm going to have to remove the transmission to replace that darn hose... Gm you fail hard.. Seriously the only area were the clutch line isn't metal is closest to the damn headers... A rubber hose wrapped in heat cloth got to hot and burst and about cause me to wreck.. I really wanted to get the car tuned before I replaced the entire drive train but I guess this is for the better.
