Melling 10296 oil pump-Stock LS2-What Spring?

What spring should I use with the Melling 10296 oil pump and a stock LS2? The higher pressure one or lower pressure one? Thanks in advance!!!

Agreed. The stock engine will have tighter clearances, so there really is no need for the high pressure spring.

How much pressure would you anticipate with each ? ie what difference is there ?

I have the same pump with the blue spring, .0023" on the mains and .0020" on the rods, and I'm seeing no less than 45psi at idle with the engine hot and about 60psi during WOT.
