LQ4 L92 Dilemma
#22
With this base tune, I'm having a super hard time controlling rpm at idle. If it isn't above 1500rpm, then it will die when I go to put it in gear. Not to mention, the idle is different every time I start it. I've gotta throw some miles on this thing pretty quick because this is just getting annoying as hell. Beyond that, I love the way it feels. It pulls super hard up top.

Still waiting myself. First his laptop crashed, then he can't get it to idle properly and doesn't know why, I am one day away from going and getting the car and my money and going somewhere else.

TTT with this one. Im in the process of collecting parts for my LQ4/LS3 370 build. I would like for compression to be ~11.5:1 but am having a hard time finding domed pistons or even flat top pistons with L92 reliefs. The smallest dish I could find is -2cc.

Sorry guys, I ended up picking up my car from that tuner due to lack of knowledge. Since then I have been working on the suspension for the car. As soon as I finish up the suspension, I'll get it on the rollers and update.

Well I got the car all put back together and going. I cleaned up the heads, went with .040 Cometic gaskets, and 231/236 ls3 3 bolt cam. I'm still in the break in stages for everything but it sounds wicked and has some good mid range torque. After I get it broke in, I'll hit the rollers and let you know what I come up with.
