Yeah I would have stayed in it a little longer that thing was still making power. I would love to see that kinda curve out of my LSX 454. That's useable everyday power on tap.

Dyno less than 1hp loss over no filter with hood open vs K&N and hood closed.

But it just looks so sexy with the air cleaner off. I'd drive it like that just to show it off. Put some stainless screen over the TB to keep out squirrels and stuff.

Yes it does look sexy with filter off, but on the street it wouldn't be good in keeping sand out.

What are the street manners of this setup? If I could get even 600whp out of my lsx454 I would be in heaven but don't want to lose the street manners completely. It's crazy how power just keeps climbing.

It is difficult to make out the colors on your thumb nail of the two power runs, but did the air cleaner actually improve the low end torque?

Yes, air filter straighten the air smoother for more low end torque.
