Oil Priming 5.3 QUESTION??
Oil Priming 5.3 QUESTION?? im building a 5.3 rx7 and i cant get it to build any oil pressure by cranking the engine with no plugs and no fuel, like everyone else says to do. so im gonna pressure feed oil through the front galley plug on the driver side front. my question is does anyone know what size that plug is?? i need to buy an adapter to screw into that hole and attach it to my pressurized oil tank.
After you get it pressurized, turn the engine over by hand a few times to cycle the lifters up and out and around the holes in THE lifters oil gallery to get oil to all the lifters.

M16x1.5 to -6AN
OR...

M16x1.5 to 1/8" NPT ...and then get an 1/8" NPT to barb'd fitting or -4AN
I'm going to use the fragola fitting and then put a -6AN cap on it after priming the engine with a pump rig I have set up.
