best head on LSX

l92 heads properly ported with the right cam will work and on a budget.

REmember the HOTROD LS3 head swap article. The ported LS3 heads didn't make a big (enough to me) difference compared to ported LS3s. If the money was there, I'd go for TSP 265 or 285 LS7 6 bolt heads

yeah i suppost i need something bigger than a pair of L92 runners for this 440, i'll get some aftermarket ones then, i'll wait a little then, thank you guys

I'd call Richard over at WCCH about their All-Pro LSW-12's. He has several CNC programs for the All-Pro head that should match up to your short block just fine.

I would recommend WCCH to do a set of CNC 6-bolt Brodix heads...$1k-1.5k less than All Pros and they put the same cnc port in them. Much better deal for the same quality heads as an All Pro.
