best head on LSX
this is my 440 ci into LSX block, mistubishi pick up weighting 3600 pounds 4x4, only drag racing(5000 feet above sea level), want you opinion to choose the most convenient heads for this setup, current head are 243's, im considering to change them for a pair from any 6.2L engine (truck ones) they have bigger runners and valves, i know the best choose would be to get some aftermarket for this, but in my own setup cathedral 243's against square 6.2L heads from IV gen... what do you think guys about both in my own setup?

For a motor that big I wouldn't use a set of LS3/L92 heads. They would be better than your 243's you have now but to get the best out of it using a stock GM casting, I would go with and LS7 head. You have the bore for it and the cubes to use them.
Here is an aftermarket casting LS7 head from PRC thru TSP.

Don't forget to check West Coast Cylinder Head also.

Ordered a set of the 255 cfm heads(LS3)style and found out the Jesel rockers wouldn't work. When they put bigger valves in these heads they spread out the bolt pattern for the rockers. My $2k set of Jesels won't work now so I have to put stockers on it now or run Yella Terra's. Going to call Texas Speed on Monday to see what my choices are.....

Considering the $$ you have already invested in the short block, a set of LS7 style 6 bolt heads would be in order. MAST and others can provide you a this style head that can provide significant power when matched with the right cam and intake combination.
If you are looking at stock heads only, the L92's unported will likely make more power than your unported 243's with the right cam. Either option is leaving a lot of hp on the table.

thank you for replying, definitely i'll drop those 243's i have another option in my hands right now, a pair of trick flow 225 int runner, it says TFS-LS1-1X 7066 CNC included, by the way 243's were CNC ported as well, what do you think about these TFS? would they help good enough? or should i consider to get something more? i got these in my hands so if they help good enough i'm putting them on it.

Bit of a small runner with the 225's
I have TFS 235s on my 427 build. When I called TEA about it they said either the 235 or 245's for that cube motor. Seeing that you are a few more cubes then me I would assume at least the 235 and lean more to the 245. Here is a pic of the heads with my Jessel sportsman rockers on them but no springs yet.
The 6 bolt heads ran me 2k with TEA doing the valve job for the manley valves I went with.

well, talking about budget that would be an issue, that's why i asked about L92 heads which are easier to get for me, i also consider this AFR 225 are kinda small for this 440, until now i've found out i do need bigger runners, anyway thank you for supporting guys.

260ish cc
Made a **** ton of torque with this setup.
Only needs to be reved to 6200 or 6300 and makes 530lbs of torque. Cam drives good too if your interested in that.
Trying to sell it all and buy a high end all pro or something similar setup. Try to make some more power.
