Default Which gasket for my Ls2?

So two different company told me two different gaskets to get for my stock ls2 with 317 heads to 9:5:1 compression, the is a turbo build project

The first guy said: Bore: 4.130 with a .060” thickness would yield an approximate compression ratio of 9.55:1. Bore: 4.130 and .070" thinkness will result in a slightly lower compression ratio of 9.36:1.

the second guy said It would require a .080 gasket which is really thick so we don't recommend it. , also, it would be custom

So which one would get me to my goal? thanks for your help

For a stock LS2 bottom-end and stock 72cc chamber 317 heads, you'd need about an .080" thick gasket to get down to 9.5:1 static compression. Personally, I'd rather run a bit higher compression with a reasonable quench rather than lower compression and a loose quench.
