Do Morel Linkbars and ls7 lifters use same pushrod length?

Do Morel Linkbars and ls7 lifters use same pushrod length? reason is I think im going to get rid of my morel linkbars since one failed and I read up they are only rated to 6500 rpms, the cam is also destroyed and hoping that the whole motor isnt. I am goin to do a cam swap and hope none of the bearings got damaged from the metal particles.
I dont want to have to change pushrods so does anyone know if they use the same pushrod length or any reason why they wouldnt?

Cut your oil filter open and examin it for metal and look for metal shavings on your oil drain plug. If you have that and silever sheen on the drained oil you are in for a rebuild. I will bet you have bearing damage if there was enough contact with the bad lifter that it ground up a cam lobe. Hen you do your rebuild with the Ls7 lifters you can measure to get the correct length push rods.

yes there was metal in the filter and drain plug but there is no noise comming from anywhere but the top end, and oil rpessure is perfect, plenty of people have redon the cam and lifters when one chewed a cam and been perfectly fine. I know there is a possibility but im not going to tear down a motor that may only last 3 more months or could last 5 more years, if I spin a bearing then I will address that when it happens.
I know texas speed built this motor but I read morels need to be .050 shorter push rods, well my heads are also milled and running a over 600 lift cam yet my pushrods are still 7.400 intake an 7.350 exhaust, dosnt that seem kinda long? or did the milling of the heads make it to where they would go back to stock length?

Every setup could be different. I am sure they measured for the pushrod length hence the two different lengths. I would check the length before putting it all back together. it takes just a few mins to know 100% what it needs rather then guessing..

yeah thats what I was thinking maybe these shorter exhaust pushrods are why i had a lifter failure to begin with.
I will be doing a new cam and rechecking pushrod length. 7.400 seems al ittle tall anyways for a milled head 600 plus lift on stock rockers

i cant remember but maybe i read the wrong thing. I have no idea what morel lifter is in this engine I wont know till I pull it apart next sunday. then I will order the lifter needed if only one is bad if several are bad im just ganna go with ls7 ones and trays

That silver sheen on the oil was the tin off the bearings. Chances are you are into the lead on them now. It ain't knocking now but it will be soon after you start running it. My advice is that you go ahead and replace all the bearings now. It will be better to do it now than wait till you spin a bearing and have to do a lot of machine work and maybe replace the crank.

The Morel's 4708 Racing are responding positively to 0.025/0.035 preload on a Aluminum Block.
Pushrod lenght did vary in my different application relate to Rockers, Rocker Stands and Geometry.
It was also different pushrod lenght from Intake to Exhaust, but it seems that's only if you are picky...

ok well i doubt all that metal is bearing material and if that much of it was gone I should have some issues already i would of noticed atleast some drop in oil pressure. just cause you have metal in your pan does not always mean bearings, especially when you know for sure you have a bad lifter

Well not knowing which Morel lifter doesn't help. They have a street series and a sportsman series. The sportsman series perform a lot better than the street. The 5206's can go to 8,000 RPM easy.
