Default Iron block LS3 piston clearance?

I am building an iron block ls3 using stock ls3 pistons and rods with a lq4 6.0 block. What I am wanting to know is what the piston clearance should be? Anyone?

I'd have to double check my build sheet, but I think I put mine just under .002". So far so good.

Interesting build. If you get a chance to check your build sheet, that would be great. I was thinking more like .003, 2 seems tight to me. What rings did you use?

.002" is on the high side of the production limit, and since they're cast hypereutectics, they won't really expand much, but since I plan on hitting it with some nitrous I felt it would be perfect. I ended up putting them all in at .0018-.0020".

For rings, I used Hastings rings from Nook and Tranny. I'd recommend them any day. They're inexpensive and use a Napier second ring with a plasma moly top ring. For $150, they're hard to beat.
