Does anybody sell or is developing a double roller chain for a VVT setup?

No, not that I'm aware of. I purchased a Katech chain for my VVT.

Unfortunately, I have not heard of anybody making (or even working on) a double-roller for the VVT setup as of yet. Like mentioned above, you can run the aftermarket single chains to beef it up some!

No need for double roller chains bud, a katech is more than enough. I'd worry more of harmonics and that chain tensioner (if it's on the Vvt's) and switch to an Ls2 dampner and a good balancer and you should be good.

Thank you for the responses.

I did'nt know Katech was an option.
Will purchase the upgraded chain.

What is required to install the LS2 damper?

I have a 2008 LY6 cast iron block.
Are the holes drilled and tapped already?

In about 3/4 weeks I'll be installing the Texas Spped VVT3 cam I purchased from them in March.
I'll have the front cover off by then so I will have a better idea.

The single bolt cams have asymmetric timing gear teeth, which is why they moved to the spring loaded tensioner that everyone hates on.. I chose to stick with the LS3 tensioner, but YMMV..
