advantages of a ls3 intake over a ly6 intake

advantages of a ls3 intake over a ly6 intake got a ly6 engine that has a cracked intake, just wondering if it would be beneficial in anyway to go to a ls3 intake. Its about the same price or a little more

The ly6 intake will tend to help the engine make more low end torque.
The ls3 intake will tend to do the opposite, while making more top end power.
I went with the ls3 intake on my ly6, because of my camshaft choice. You should be able to purchase an ly6 intake for much less than an ls3 intake. If you go the ls3 route, make sure you purchase the intake bolts with it.
