well my old ly6 ran 6.18 on just 150 shot yes a ls3 runs harder but no reason a 6.0 lq4 ls3 head wont run
something like a 224 230 590 590 on 108 check ptv and roll

I do still have my stock LS1 heads and LS6 intake. I could use them if it's safer than doing the LS3 top end without the bore/stroke to the block.

You can still hope for good power using these ueads, but I cant stress to you enough the importance of picking the right cam.
Try eps for a cam, they do a lot of 6.0/ls3 combos.

ideally if you flycut your pistons some, you could mill your heads for more compression
