LS3 deck height.

Scat makes a forged H beam rod that I think will work with a factory piston. 2-LS1-6100-2100-945 (ARP 8740) or 2-LS1-6100-2100-945A (ARP2000).
If you are replacing pistons, you should probably go with 6.125 rods and a piston with the appropriate compression height.
It's not stroke that you're looking at it's how much deck clearance or protrusion you will have. 6.125 length with a stock piston would stick out of the block .027 more and that would almost certainly result in unacceptable quench (head clearance) unless your deck height happens to be much taller than most LS blocks.

I was thinking an Eagle rod set and Mahle pistons or something. Are Mahle pistons good to 1000hp? I don't want 1000 HP I just want stuff that is rated for way better than I have lol.
