Default LS7 intake on LS2

Aloha gang.
I can't get the search bar to work for some reason. But anyways. I have an Ls2, headers and vararam. I have a lline on a cheap Ls7 intake and rails. Any real benifit to swapping it on? I know the ls2 intake sucks.
Thanks for any input

Bummer. Thanks, looks like I'll either port mine, get a fast 92 or a typhoon. I installed a typhoon on my c5 when I installed my cam, was a nice combo

Typhoon sucks. Search on that and you will see why.

how about the very basics of plastic = a lot less heat sink that a big *** heavy, heat saturating aluminum intake.

Weight AND heatsink should be enough of a reason.

Why Google it? I installed one and it was awesome. I had to mod the fuel line a tad, but no problems after that. I used an ls7 throttle body thru an adaptor as well. It made more power than my ls6 Mani did. I made 5 back to back dyno runs, with ls1 edit Recording. No heat sink, numbers all stayed the same. No loss in power. And nothing looks nearly as good. People at car shows would just strait and talk about my motor. Here's a pic of my c5 motor

its not that it flows any worse or its a piece of junk. its just that there are other options that are probably better options. like the fast 92 / 102. No chance of heat soaking, better flowing, less weight

I will agree it flows a little less. Has a lot of room for porting. But it only makes like 8hp less with a 90mm throttle body than a fast. And for $400 shipped to my door, for a polished one. I figured he'll yeah. I'm not kidding you, parked next to a supercharged c6 zo6, everyone would be looking at my motor. "Wow, thts beautiful man" I might just get another one. I street race, but I show my c6 as well
