Default Livernois Motorsports LS Bronze Lifter Bushing Install Demonstration

In this video, Livernois Motorsports is installing bronze lifter bushings into a GM LS-Series block. Bronze Lifter Bushings are an option for any Livernois Motorsports build or customer supplied LS block.

This allows the use of keyway style or non-keyway style lifter bushings.

Numerous lifter bore sizes are supported with varying bushings available.

The entire procedure is done in-house on the CNC.

Rick,

Thanks for the very informative vids! I'm surprised the initial machining is done dry. What's a ballpark $$$ on this? Say for 0.937" keyed lifters? It looks pretty simple once past the setup stage...

Hi Russ,

Thank you for your interest! There is lubrication applied before the initial machining, but speeding up the video made the smoke more apparent. Ballpark for what you would like is $600 + parts.

Thank you,

Rick

I've done that to every race engine I've built. That way if a lifter breaks or something happens, you don't usually damage the block. Just put in a new sleeve and go.
