Question 243 Valve/Seat Sizing Question

I have a couple of questions I tried to search out the answer to but didnt find. I am going to swap out some valves in my 243's and I know I am going to use the 2.02 Intake Sizing and I know that will work with the factory seat, But then I was going to use the 1.6'' Exhaust....and I cant find info to say whether the factory seat will accomodate this or not. I was simply planning on SS Valves, but I will consider other oprtions, price dependant.

Also, What are my valve options for these two sizes. I saw Rev Stainless offered at LPE for a fair price of $100 a set of each, but what else is out there? (links would be nice and appreciated, Thx)

1.6" will work on the stock seats. REV's are nice, as are Ferrea and Manley. I think Ferrea even offers a hollow stem that weigh in at about 108g if I remember correctly.

I got a set of hollow 2.165" LS3 intake valves and solid 1.59" exhaust valves for less than $200 shipped from Erik @ HKE. If you got those, you can turn then down to 2.02" and have a nice ~80g intake valve.

I'll probably be doing similar with mine, but 2.08" diameter and a steeper seat.

That sounds like too much work....Id rather just buy the proper sized valve for the application. I know I dont want to change the seats, because at that oint it would be cheaper to just buy a set of heads done after the labor.
