i think im just goin with the shortblock from texas speed fully built the motor should be around 12000 with accessories and ecu and everything. Tranny 1800 ls conversion kit 2000 9inch 4000 thats my rough price out

416 LS3 would put you in the 550-600 whp range with heads/cam.

Would a 416 be better with TEA 235 heads or LS3 heads that are PnP and decked .030"?

yea the LS3 i feel is the easier way to achieve my goal thanks Camper. Not sure about the head though Rocket.

Hey guys looking for some help on my build all parts that are listed is what im using and will be complete in a few weeks. I wanna know what is the top horsepower I can make at the crank and wheels. Im open up to suggestions if you have input on my build please let me know i would love to make 650 to the crank.
6.0 stroked to 418 all forged
custom grind cam numbers should be 250-plus with a lift of around 660
Heads ls3 -they are cnc and will have a valve job done on them expecting to flow around 365-370cfm
Intake ls3
373 gears
Auto tranny

With a fast 92 or 102 probly be 575-595 to the wheels with headers and true duals

Is it really worth the money to put a fast intake on the car vs. the ls3 intake what is the adverage hp diff?
