My vote is for the LSX454 and 4L80. That would be a fun and low maintenance setup for the long haul.

It is my understanding a built 4l60E can handle 7-800 rwhp. Although I know a 4l80E is the better choice and I need to stop being lazy, Since I know the 80 require many more mods.
