The only thing that works with cathedral is cathedral, same for rectangle port. Its the entire top end, not both.

The more I read I keep thinking about just having my 317's Cnc'd since they are close to the 243's am I crazy to think that a set of Cnc 317's/ls3 intake and injectors can get me in the 425 range? If they can I might just stick with that setup as the cost is minimal and it will keep my CR low for an eventual turbo setup down the road. After all this motor is in a 2600lb car

Just realized i cant run ls3 intake with 317's.. so the question is this. Spend the money on porting my free 317's and dropping 850 on a fast + some upgraded injectors for the ls1 fuel rail or I could also buy some 243's already done 15-1800 maybe more + ls3 intake and fuel sysyem.. im leaning towards the 317's what do you guys think?

Youve still got the ls3 **** backwards.

If its ls1/2/6 you cant use any of the ls3 stuff, except maybe the injectors and fuel rail

317/241/853/243/799 = LS1/2/6. The ls3 manifold cant be used with any of those

what electronics setup are you planning on using after the intake swap? the lq4 has a really nasty looking harness.

I'm just going to keep it the way it is.. The motor is in a 77 280z so everything is kind of tucked anyways. I went ahead and ordered a fast 92mm intake, ev1-6 adapters and 03/04 cobra Injectors. Waiting on a call back from AI and mast for head options.

Lol yeah I heard they where SUPER expensive.. If I could get AI to call me back I could get this ball rolling.. On a side note does anyone know if these 39lb injectors will even run in the car without a new tune? It would be nice to cruise around on them untill my heads are done and a final tune is to be had.

They are texas speeds PRC heads. They are a full aftermarket casting, they are not a factory head.
