Default building my first engine got a couple questions

As the title says I'm starting to build my first engine. I'm going with an. Lq4 bored .065 over. 4.8 crank. Ls9 cam. The engine is go in an extended cab short bed pickup. Main focus is reliability and longevity. Now for the questions. And LATER on it will be fi but I just want to get the engine out of the way first.

Should I pickup a complete high miles engine or just a block?

Should I go with a ported ls3 head or will the nice 6.0 heads ported do the same thing?

Which reluctor size do I need to look for on the 4.8 crank?

What is going to be the ideal top end setup for this type of build?

For a high winding engine like this should I go with a 4l80 or 6l90

I'm sure most of my questions are cost based.

Default

get the block
Ls3 heads will do good since youve got a big bore
reluctor is your choice 24 or 58
