Default l92. upgrade from 224/230 ???

hey guys im from australia and have a ve ss ute 6spd manual.

i am wanting a bigger and better camshaft for my 6.0l. the 1 i have now just isnt what I'm after i want more torque and power and also alot lumpier.


mods so far
224/230 114lsa
lunati double valve springs
7.400 push rods
otr
4into1 1 7/8s extractors with 100cell cats
with a twin 3" catback
4.11 diff gears
mafless tune 450rwhp 700nm (before gears)

I'm using a Comp Cam 231 239 .617 . 624 113 in our auto LS3.

yes I've seen that grind alot in my searching but i think my next cam i would like to have a lower lsa but with a lower lsa id be in the 220s otherwise there will be ptv issues which isnt what i want so its sorta hard to decide

flowtech ssht (streetsweeper high torque)

228-232, 612-600, 111+3

will deliver increased hp/torque, be lumpier, and ptv shouldnt be issue (but better to check it to be on the safe side....)

that looks pretty good although id rather go a fraction bigger maybe.

what lobes are used on that cam ? and if i was to order it through texas speed

would i just choose a 111lsa ?

what is the intake centre line ?

sorry for all the questions still pretty new at understanding cam grinds and wanna make this my last cam change.

looking at a 235/243 620/623 112+? lsa

i know this fits with the right lsa because its gm turbo killer cam which there running 10.9 cam only with. but dont know what lsa they've got it on ?

That will be a very, very lumpy cam and only very high rpm torque IMHO.

Sounds like you are circling in on the 231/239 camshaft. 228 is to small and 235 is to big.

228-236 112 +2. Go too big on the ICL and it will get soggy on the bottom.

My Stage 2 cam for the LS3 is 231/242 .61x"/.59x" 113+4 and has a nice chop at idle and would be a good upgrade over your current cam.
