Default WCCH 245cc Cam Selection Help

Anybody want to put in there two cents on a cam for a 370 with WCCH 245cc heads? Gonna be running 10.8 compression and going to a fast 102 setup with 1 7/8" headers SS M6 car. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

FYI, only running 10.8 compression so that I can spray on 93 octane.

I'd call Brian Tooley (former owner of TEA) or Ed Curtis from flowtech to achieve your goals bud.

My $.02 would be a 60 EVO, a 44 IVC, and overlap depending on how aggressive you want the setup to be. I'd like to see a minimum of 17 degrees of overlap for really good power, and upwards of 25 overlap for better power.

A 235/247 112+5 will give you 17 degrees of overlap, and a 239/251 110+5 will give you 25 degrees of overlap.

If you wanted a better idle and less than 10 degrees of overlap then a 231/243 114+5 will give you 9 degrees of overlap. This would still make good power and be street friendly.

All of the above specs carry the same 60ish EVO and 44ish IVC. You need to cam it similar to LS3 heads on the same size engine.
