Building a badass Blazer with a 6.0 in it First post here, and this is my first LS engine. I'm a Ford guy.....main car is an 03 Cobra...
Anyways, just picked up a 2001 S10 Blazer with a LQ9 with 243 heads for $2000. It has alot of small problems, but my goal here is to make it run 10's. It has a t56 in it, and a built 10 bolt in the back with 3.73's. Motor is bone stock, have no idea how it ended up with the 243 heads, but it has em.
My thoughts are a healthy cam and a big turbo. Since I know nothing about these LS motors, what type of boost am I looking at, and what other things do I need to do to this motor to run 10's? It weights 3600 according to my scales.
