Auto or Stick? Full Exhaust and Airlid are a given and should be first. Texas speed and performance longtubes are the way to go for headers. Cant beat them for price. 400rwhp is going to be hard without going with a pretty big cam or doing heads and cam.

Buy one part at a time and go the track and see how each part works to eat off time. Cam, torque converter, full exhaust a better air filter and performance long tubes headers. He's right with stock heads 400rwhp is going to be hard without going with a pretty big cam or doing heads and cam., it's all about what you have to spend.

A convertor and exhaust is 12's all day. 400rwhp isn't going to happen though, without heads and cam through an Auto.

Agreed^ Your gonna have to upgrade your heads and a cam swap to be able to reach your HP goals. Rear end gears, a SLP lid, a ported LS6 intake with a ported throttle body, and some TSP true duals will definately get you going. Look into TSPs cam and head packages if your interested.
