From what im seeing it looks like a nice 228/232 and stay under that .600 lift.
Or maybe a 232/236 .600/.600 113, because a Guy made 479/430 on a m6 goat without ported heads/intake

As for the heads. I might ship them down to low2001gmc and have them ported on the exhaust side.

And from the looks of it, 20+mpg and 450/450 should be a cake walk
this is kinda funny jadedbird. i am also helping anthony.fatica with his build. weve become good buddies, right anthony

Any kind and wise person is a good friend of mine haha!!

So im curious as to if i can keep my ls2 rockers on the exhaust side since they arent off set.
I also checked the numbers and correct me if im wrong...

General Motors Part # 10214664 LS3 Exhaust Rocker Arm
Ls2 roker arms General Motors Part # 10214664
So do i only need to purchase 8 off set rocker arms?
And will the trunion upgrade work on the offset rockers?

yes you only need to purchase the 8 offset rockers arms. as for trunion upgrade, not sure if theyre the same or different so wherever you buy from, please lettem know you need them for l92 heads so you can ensure you get the right ones. i lucked out and found some harland sharp modified complete set of intake and exhaust rockers brand new for $275. see some guy on here selling same for $412. wow....

Ill take you 85 off your hands.
And im actually considering buying those if i can jew him down a bit haha.
Of course $100 labor to install trunion upgrades is rediculous so his price is nearly worth it once you figure cost of the trunion kit and the rockers themselves (then the turn around time as well)

im hope my gear head of a friend will have one. if not, i may just have to get out of my comfort zone

heres the video i was referring to.
they obviously go more in depth then i plan to.
ill probably just lightly smooth the valve chambers, and them open the exhaust ports and smooth them as well.

the kit is $120 and the link is located in the description box of the video

AGEARHEAD4LIFE has some good videos too

also, what would i use to clean the block and heads? just simple degreaser and a garden hose?
i was consdering painting the block gun metal grey metallic along with the valve covers
defiantly need to paint the engine bay too......

So i have my ls2 bought, ls3 intake, 92mm tb, l92 heads.
Still need to pick up a cam kit
Need come caddy lifters and ls3 rockers/pedestals from sdpc
I dont know what i want to do with the oil pump. Maybe a melling m295?
I believe i will be settling with a stock ls2 timing chain
And i think im going to "waste" money on gears for a 10 bolt. I wanna see what gears i want for when i buy a new rear
Figure out my air intake situation...
And ummm i think thats it
