Talked to Dr. J's a second ago...... Dr. J said that the casting is not the problem it's the... valve guides, and other parts of the valve train that make this head no liked by many of the people, he also stated that they as, Dr. J's cylinder shop replace all cheap valve train parts with quality parts.

Also, if Dr. J replaced all of the valvetrain stuff, I still have a cheap casting that all of that is in.
That's like getting a custom leather interior in a 1994 Ford escort.

Well ok let's say I have a small budget and I want to get a pair of cheap heads that are damn good let's say 900 for a pair and add 500 to the bill for upgrades that's still is cheaper than I spent on TFS heads, bare mind you...And to Mr. Jenson 265 ain't that big Ported LS3 heads are out there and I would like to say that these would be a hell of a lot better than a set of ported LS3 heads.

What I'm saying is that if you look at AI,WCCH L92 cnc heads and look at Poor Comp. which has the most potential for a 265 to 267 runner. Power speaks for itself.900 bucks worth. Look at this guy's engine build at the start of the thread.....

I never did find that part out RPM never stated who or where the head came from...the young man over the phone just plainly said he would have to call to get them in....
