Default 408 windage tray clearance problems?

Was putting the pan on my 408 ready to put it in the car, gave it a spin a it stopped. Looks like the rod bolts are hitting on the windage tray. How much do you need to cut out? Anyone else had this problem? And what remedy did you use?

You don't need to cut, you need to use spacers. (washers).

Use washers to space it out, or just buy a proper windage tray. I have a mast black label tray on mine. ~$60 and clears up to a 4.250 stroke. Nice piece.

Jesus Christ. Did you just spin the motor over as hard and fast as you could trying to clearance it?!
