ls2 rods recognition???? Please!!!
ls2 rods recognition???? Please!!! Do all the full floating rods must have the oiling grooves/canals at the upper bearing (inner face), where the piston wrist pin goes? I got some; supposed LS2 rods that has no grooves there; are them full floating or just got the no full floating press fit ones?

So if has a bearing where the wrist pin goes in the rod, its a full floating type, doesn't matter if has the oiling groove or not? All previous full floating rods that I had before (from LQ9 and LS2) had the oiling groove.
bushing....yes...not0 really called a bearing per se'
old school rods never had the groove in them
perhaps you came across a set that some shop converted from press to float
or maybe GM used different vendors during certain eras...?????
