I've notice this has happen a lot with stock LS7 engines........I'll put it out there.......it's Quality Control & a defective part....I'm sure Ron will agree with this ...
The valve guide's are KNOW good..... The material of the guides is no good .... it's 2 many of the LS7 owners who have this problem......Why doesn't this happen with aftermarket heads...MASS-PRODUCTION=$$$$$$..WE can replace your engine with a defective part while still selling Zo6's

Has any one ran these heads for high mileage. I am interested to see how well the bronze guides are holding up. Do these heads need to be checked often?
