Question should i be worried.. did a compression check..

I did a compression check on my lsx stroker about 2 weeks ago and well all cylinders were around 235-240ish except for cylinder 1 it read at 220ish... should i be worried about that cylinder? Mechanic said it could be a valve or a small thing and maybe a cleaning up of the head and valves could be the solution.

Motor is a tsp lq9 400+ cube engine with the l92/ls3heads

I would not worry about it. Run it and recheck. If it starts to change then look into it.

Grey hatch said it. He's pretty a smart/wise dude with these LS motors. Run it. Keep a eye on it, with weekly comp. checks. If you are curios or want to know why, add a little motor oil to the cylinder and see if the compression goes up. If it does, its the rings. If it doesn't, it isn't. Then rotate the engine untill both valves are closed and put some compressed air into the cal. and listen to where the air is coming from. I am sure you know what to do next.
