TSP do cores? Or any other reputable builders offer core swap?

I don't want to buy one outright. I know I can do that, everybody sells outright. And why would I sell you my core block when that's why I need to core my block?

I wouldn't mind some of whatever you're smoking...

What shortblock do you have to turn in as a core? What engine are you looking at going with?

You would get a lot more money out of your assembled shortblock rather then just use it as a core with the stock rotating assembly going to waste.

I have an stock bottom LS3 (08 C6). Looking at doing a semi-daily driven n/a, bolt-on LS3 416 (with an A6 and stock converter, but use paddle/manual mode exclusively). I'm trying to decide if I should use my block or do a core swap.
A lifter collapsed and shaved the cam lobe down pretty well. #8 intake lifter bore has a very fine scratch in the wall. I don't know if it's something that would need sleeved or not. Lots of glitter in the pan, but don't know if it's anything else but cam lobe shavings. Don't know if the bearings got trashed...haven't pulled the block totally out yet.
Everything else looks good.

I'll need short block (or rotating assembly), lifters, oil pump and a cam...plus all associated gaskets/seals/bolts. I have everything else and is in good shape. (7.4 hardened pushrods, new dual .675 springs, etc...)

Was eyeballing one of your "mini stroker" 388's when I was keeping the blower. But with the blower setup for sale, I opting for adding inches to make up for some of what I'm losing. I want 500+ and don't think I'll have much trouble getting there with what I've got on a 416.

Only concern....budget.

I don't have time to find a seller...selling this ECS blower setup has been a pain in the butt unless I just want to give it away or trade some of these jokers for their leftovers. Nor do I have the extra space to store it til then. All work is being done without a garage, on jack stands. And with the block having some potential mild damage, I wouldn't get much more than what I'd get for a core relative to the added hassle.
