Default 98 TA ... LSA swap?

So the more and more I research engine builds/swap I keep coming the conclusion that instead of building the shotty 98 block LS I have, maybe I should just go and swap it.
What all would be involved in such a swap to make it fully functional? Crate engine would come with an ECU, and I'd want to stick with the viperized T56 I already have.. so TCU wouldn't be an issue..

What would I have to do in order to get it all working like 'stock'?

I doubt you could simply swap in a LSa. I am betting you'd have cowl clearance issues and have to lower the k-member wich creates more problems. Try a SEARCH

It would probably be alot easier just to go w/ a stroker LS3

If the blower clears, it'd be very similar to swapping any other Gen IV. I don't see why it couldn't be run with the older PCM and tuned for the blower. I know some tuners don't like the 98 PCM though...

The LSA block is far superior to the LS3, so if you got the chance to grab one..do it. I did an LSA swap on a C5 Z06 except with twin turbo, turned out great.
