Default Weights and Dimensions

Morning All,

I am trying to price up shipping a LS2 engine, manual transmission and electrical/mechanical ancillaries to the cold and wet UK. Could anyone give me an estimate for the size and weight for a crate with all the components in please.

Regards
Jack

I'll be getting an engine shipped here in January too. Probably through FedEx so we'll see.

Go to freightquote.com set up an account and they will call you to setup shipping and they find you the cheapest and the best deal. You get to talk to a live person in the process.

Last time I checked, it was 290 bucks to ship a shortblock from Cali to Louisiana.

Thanks for both of your comments, mini_me what are you getting shipped, I would be very interested to know the total price and where you are getting the item(s) shipped from.

At 87silverbullet, thanks, I will sign up with them ASAP. Does 290 bucks seem reasonable for that distance?
