Default 376 Boost build help

I understand that lower compression is ideal for boost. What is the stock Comp Rat for the LS3. Also I would like to understand more on what makes lower comp. As I understand now, correct me if I'm way off, but the more negative space in the top of the piston for example a -15CC piston has lower comp than a -3CC piston in the same stroke?
The rotating assembly I'm looking at is:
Callies Compstar forged crank
K1 H-beam w/ ARP 2000 bolts
Wiseco 4.07 -25CC pistons
balanced
is this a good setup for boost?

I'm looking to put a competition Edelbrock E-force on a LS3 camaro. With 250CC Ported/Polished LS3/L92 heads and TSP blower cam 2" long tubes and 3" straight pipe all the way back to SLP loud mouth.

I would think twice on the compstar crank. I have about 25 dyno pulls and the crank is junk. Stress cracked every where. I've had some issue with the engine but crank is junk

Wow im shocked to hear that someone did not like the Callies compstar crank . yellow bullet has tons of threads posted of successful builds with that crank. Hell I am pushing 1000 hp on a stock ls3 with an upgraded cam, springs, and ARP head bolts. If it wasnt for the oil pump issues I would have never changed my setup. saw 15psi of boost without a problem. Prior to my last outing it decided to take a $hit while at idle in the pits. dropped oil pressure. May have been caused by the timing chain tensioner pin being sucked up in the oil pump. methanol with mechanical injection and single turbo. 5.07 @135.7 right off the trailer. new build with callies compstar crank, callies comp pistons, wiseco pistons. Melling pump.

Have you talked to Callies about this?
