Maincap material Hey everyone, I've been looking around and have gotten some conflicting information, maybe someone here can confirm or deny this
LSA shortblock has forged main caps, whereas the LS3 has your usual LS series iron main caps. Correct?

Main caps LS3 has powdered sintered metal main caps same as most LS blocks.
LS7, LS9 have doweled steel main caps with spread inner bolt hole center lines
LSA has undoweled ductile iron main caps
