Lolz. The waiting is killing me. I'm ready to tear up some tires with this beast.

Didn't you say you had an a possible 434 in sight?

Ok so, the latest update: heads will be done at the end of the week! Talked to Frankenstein Racing heads today just to get an ETA on the heads completion and what to expect flow wise with the new program, and Chris said the first 2 sets have flowed over 410 intake and 270 Exhaust! Man I look forward to getting them on!

Also dropped off all of my parts at Quality MS to start the assembly. I'm guessing ETA for break in cruising should be the first week of February, with Dyno tuning and numbers the following week!

Oh, and just received these today:

Austin Barnett, is a stud!

Kind of curious why you don't have enough injector to run E85? I have a 370 iron block, TFS heads etc etc and I'm NA running 2 aeromotive 340's in tank with 60lb injectors and only at 55% duty cycle. 60lb is plenty of injector (NA) for E85. Now your running more cubes than me and I know with more airflow the fuel demand will be higher but E85 still may be food for thought.
Awesome build you have there. Excited to your results. Power is easy to make with FI, but I love high hp NA builds. So much more engineering and thought put into it.

It's a matter of drive and purpose determining my pump gas v E85 decision. My car will be a cruiser and occasionally hit the track, so pump gas is more user friendly than E85 in this sense. 1) E85 isn't all over the place 2) not that my car is going to get great gas mileage, but E85 would kill the already poor 12-14 MPG I expect to get around town. If I was going to use this build strictly for racing, E85 would be the route to take. Since it'll be run around town on fun runs along w/ track days, pump makes better sense. Now, the runway rivalry coming up in May...... I might get a little C116 and let'er rip! We'll have to see

And I'm extremely excited to get this thing finished as well! After getting the projected flow numbers yesterday, I'm as giddy as a school girl to see this thing finished!

Hi,
Our previous 444ci build did 570 rwhp. This new built has some upgrades that should hit the 600 rwhp mark. Our 60# injectors run round 55-60% duty cycle right now.

Its already up and running. Just got it broken in and working on the tune. With the new build we did a different cam, ported the LS7 intake manifold, roller rockers, some additional head port work to the cnc ported Ls7 heads. The LS7 intake manifold ports are to small. We ported it as much as we could without going into the O-ring trying to match the heads but it still is to small to match the intake ports. I'm going to get a fast 102, 102 TB and 102 MAF housing with LS7 MAF and bigger cai setup to match. Also adding a Meth kit and electric cutouts.

Wow. Did you do the extra porting on your heads? Or Richard WCCH? Do you know what they flowed? I look forward to see the results. Check out Brian's results from porting his 102. He's running a 454, with power similar to yours. He gained a ton of torque from porting and epoxy work on his fast!

Yes I did the porting. Basically just clean and did some smoothing where the cnc couldn't do. Didn't have them flow tested. Interesting about the Fast 102 porting.

Hope you post up what it throws down on the dyno Christian. I'd love to see the results!
