LS2 into FBody Oil Pressure Sensor...
LS2 into FBody Oil Pressure Sensor... Been awhile since I posted on here but have been lurking alot...
Anyways, I've searched all over here and on google and can't seem to figure this out...
I'm putting an LS2 into my 2000 camaro and am putting the top end together now. One thing I ran into and I'm not quite sure what to do is I'm about to put on the LS2 valley cover and I don't know what to use for an oil pressure sensor? It seems like the LS1 sensor won't fit thread wise but if I use a different sensor is there an adaptor for the plug or will it just plug into my stock LS1 plugin?
Does this make sense or am I crazy?

The ls1 fits in the back of the ls2 block just like the ls1. Ul have use rhe ls1 sensor so can plug it in. If ur wanting to use the ls2 short oil pressure sensor I believe they make a pigtail. But I just put my ls1 senspr in my ls2 block. Hope this helps
Ok, so it does fit into the valley cover? It seemed to me that the threads on the ls1 sensor had a smaller OD than the ID in the valley cover threads. I guess I can see if any local stores have the sensor and take my valley cover in to test the fit...

Im using the ls2 valley cover not the ls1. And put knock sensors on side of the block with drill and tap. The ls2 is m8 thread. Ul need drill and tap m10 thread. And get wire extention harness
