Default LY6 block with LS3 crank

I have a LY6 a stock crank and rods and but it does have forged pistons. After figuring out it would be much cheaper to run a 58x reluctor wheel it got me questioning if I could just swap the crank in an LS3 crank, from what I understand its a little stronger. Would I have to re balance the entire assembly?

NO. Not forged pistons. IIRC…… the stock LY6 crank should be the same as the LS3 crank. Same 58x and stroke. YEs.. material. SAME
